On the warm reddish-brown clay ground, the artisan has carved the image of the Phoenix with the utmost care:
Exquisite carving: Every line of the phoenix's tail and wings is rendered soft and flowing, as though the bird were dancing across the sky.
Feng shui: The Phoenix is the king of birds, standing for virtue, grace and prosperity. In feng shui it also signifies the harmony of yin and yang and a powerful capacity for rebirth.
