A "speaking" work by Artisan Chu Dụng Khảo. If the Heart-shaped spout is a symbol of affection, then the sculpted Immortal Peach branch is a wish for longevity and well-being. Together they give the pot its name, "Peach Heart" – a bright heart, a peaceful life.
The finest detail is still the mouth of the spout, shaped into a distinctive heart:
Aesthetics: Unconventional, soft and thoroughly romantic. Watching the stream pour from the "heart" turns serving tea into something poetic.
Function: A gathered, rounded stream that cuts off cleanly.
Instead of the usual floral motifs, the artisan sculpted a peach branch running across the body of the pot:
The image: Plump peaches nestled among the foliage, with leaf veins carved so vividly they look real.
Feng shui meaning: In East Asian culture, the peach (the Immortal Peach) is the foremost symbol of Health and Longevity. To own this pot is to carry the wish of "a hundred years together" and abundant health for the owner of the house.
Side-handle form: Modelled on a handle made from a dry branch — rustic, and light in the hand when pouring, with no worry about burning your fingers.
Material: Qinzhou Nixing ceramic retains heat well and softens the water, making it especially suited to awakening the flavour and aroma of fine teas.
Capacity 285ml: The standard size for a tea table of 3-5 people — roomy enough for the leaves to open, with enough water to fill every cup evenly.
14-hole filter: Fast, strong flow that never clogs.
Craftsmanship: Entirely handmade, with every sculpted detail worked out little by little.
