1. Material: Nixing ceramic from Qinzhou (Guangxi)
Crafted from the distinctive clay of the Qin River, fired at high temperatures above 1080°C.
Characteristics: The ceramic is exceptionally durable and rings as crisply as metal. The surface is smooth and grows glossier with use.
Colour: The chicken-liver brown characteristic of Nixing ware, with natural mineral veining brought out by kiln transmutation during firing.
2. Decoration: Incised calligraphy & lotus flower (gilded)
Front An exquisitely incised and gilded (or mineral-pigment) lotus motif. The lotus stands for purity — "grown in the mud, yet untainted by its smell".
Back Incised with the calligraphic inscription "Hòa Khí Trí Tường" (和氣致祥) – meaning: where harmony and warmth are kept, good fortune will follow.
Signature: The year and the artisan's name are incised beside the inscription.
3. Capacity: 170ml
An ideal size for refined tea drinking, suited to 1–3 people.
Retains heat well and preserves the tea's original aroma.
4. Filter: 14-hole filter
The filter holes are drilled by hand with great care, giving a strong, round pour that never clogs.
5. Artisan: Zeng Shijun
The piece carries artisan Zeng Shijun's hand seal on the base, confirming its handcrafted value and its standing
