The Han Duo shape draws its inspiration from the form of an ancient set of scales or an antique bell, carrying the meaning of balance, integrity and steadfastness. The artistic highlight of this piece is the foot of the pot, carved with broad, softly flowing lotus petals (Lian Hua) that cradle the entire body. The union of the squared, sturdy lines of the Han Duo shape with the airy, pristine grace of the lotus, together with the hand-carved inscriptions, creates a whole steeped in the spirit of Zen, turning every tea session into a quiet moment of calm.
Made from unblended Zini clay, the pot has a deep, unassuming brown tone and superb breathability. The double-pore structure characteristic of Zini clay retains the water's heat exceptionally well while also interacting with the liquor, softening any harsh, coarse notes and bringing out the deep, full sweetness of the aftertaste. This Zini clay takes on a patina very readily; after only a short time of care with tea, the surface of the pot will come up glossy and smooth, warm and thoroughly refined.

Plum-blossom filter: a cluster of small holes worked meticulously by hand on the inner wall of the pot, filtering out every fine tea particle for a crystal-clear liquor without ever clogging the spout.
Flawless pour: precise calculation from the firmly set handle and the flush, snug-fitting lid through to the curve of the spout produces a pour that is strong, evenly rounded and cuts off exceptionally clean
