Xuyet Cau shape (small): "Xuyet Cau" means a succession of linked circles. This is a classic shape that prizes absolute symmetry between the lid, the body and the spout. In the small size, the teapot sits neatly in the palm of the hand, feeling intimate and easy to handle while brewing.
Zhuni clay: The "king" of clays for bringing out the fragrance of aromatic teas such as oolong, Tie Guan Yin or fine green teas. Zhuni shrinks a great deal in the kiln, has a silky surface and a distinctive orange-red tone, and takes on a jade-like sheen the longer it is seasoned.
