A piece with a design language rich in symbolism — a wish for a good beginning, good fortune and prosperity, offered to our fellow tea lovers.
Bao Chun (Apricot Blossom) teapot shape: Inspired by nature's awakening at the coming of spring, the shape imitates an old, gnarled branch from which new buds and shoots break out. The artistic accent lies in the spout, handle and lid knob, formed as a winding old apricot branch, while the body is scattered with five-petalled apricot blossoms applied in relief by hand, vividly lifelike.
Zini clay: The classic zisha clay, with a quiet, unadorned purple-brown tone. Zini is rich in minerals and outstandingly breathable, which softens the water, takes the harshness off the taste and makes the flavour rounder, with a deeper aftertaste. Zini is also very easy to "raise": the longer the pot is used, the more it takes on a smooth, glossy patina, warm as jade.
Meticulous in every line: The apricot blossoms and branches are finished with great care by the artisan, creating a harmonious contrast between the rough, sinewy old branch and the soft, pure young blossoms.
