1. Premium Da Hong Pao clay Da Hong Pao is one of the finest mineral clays and is held in very high regard within the zisha family. The clay has a naturally deep red colour and is distinguished by its porosity and excellent breathability. Its greatest strength is the way it absorbs the aroma of the tea and holds that fragrance over time. With use, the pot quickly develops its patina, the surface turning glossy and lustrous, while also softening the water and noticeably improving the flavour of the tea with every brew.
2. The classic Shipiao shape Shipiao is one of the most emblematic teapot shapes in the art of zisha, built on a conical form with a wide base tapering towards the mouth. This design gives the pot a firm, steady stance. The broad base gives the tea leaves the fullest possible room to unfurl, releasing their entire flavour.
