An orchid motif with a quietly refined character: The orchid (the Ink Orchid) is one of the Four Gentlemen of the plant world, a symbol of nobility, refinement and a still beauty that never shows off. As can be seen in the file "image.png", every orchid spray and slender leaf has been sketched full of life by the artisan in unaffected cobalt-blue tones, giving the tea space a relaxed, deeply meditative feel.
One-of-a-kind hand-painting craftsmanship: Because it is made entirely by hand and painted by hand, every gaiwan carries brushwork with its own play of light and dark and its own distinct "soul". No two pieces are ever absolutely alike, which gives the owner a unique work with high collectible value.
Accented with a luxurious silver rim: A delicate silver line runs along the edge of the lid, the rim of the bowl and the finial. This detail not only creates a soft catch of light under the lamps of the tea room but also lifts the white porcelain set to something more luxurious and aristocratic.
Premium porcelain that honours the colour of the liquor: The smooth ivory-white porcelain reflects in full the original, crystal-clear colour of each infusion. The porcelain body is fired at high temperature, which makes it durable, heat-resistant and easy to clean.
110ml capacity – a finely judged golden ratio: The 110ml size is an exceptionally versatile choice and is especially favoured among tea lovers. This capacity is perfect for an unhurried session alone, for a deep session shared with a kindred spirit, or still enough to pour for a small gathering of 2 - 3 people when used together with a tea pitcher.
