"GREEN BAMBOO" HAND-PAINTED TEA CUP – NATURAL BEAUTY (50ML)

If you are looking for a tea cup that is at once simple and steeped in the spirit of the scholar-literati, this bamboo-painted porcelain cup is one you should not pass up.

1. The Motif: "Bamboo Grove in Ink Wash" (Hand-Painted)

Style: The motif is not lush young green bamboo shoots, but bamboo stalks and leaves drawn in indigo and blue-black, like an ink-wash painting (a work in Chinese ink).
Handcrafted: The brushwork is free and unrestrained, with natural gradations of light and dark that give the cup depth and a "soul" of its own.
Meaning: Bamboo stands for the nobility, uprightness and resilience of the true gentleman.

2. The Material: White Porcelain That Brings Out the Colour

White ground: The smooth white porcelain acts like a sheet of traditional dó paper, letting the ink strokes stand out.
True to the tea's colour: The pure white interior reflects the colour of the liquor as faithfully as possible — whether jade green or glowing gold — making the tasting that much more complete.

3. Capacity 50ml – A Proper Drinking Cup

Capacity 50ml: The standard size for a drinking cup, the one you sip from.
Function: Just enough tea for one refreshing sip; it holds heat well without letting the tea cool too quickly.
Shape: A gently curved form that sits neatly between the fingertips, light and graceful in the hand as you raise it.
