Note

One of China's "Four Great Famous Kilns," Nixing (Nê Hưng) pottery from Khâm Châu is renowned for its jade-smooth clay texture and its natural color transformation through firing. The Horses Return in Triumph cup set is not just a tea vessel, but a symbol of unyielding resolve and success achieved.

HIGHLIGHTS OF CHARACTER & CRAFTSMANSHIP

Distinctive Nê Hưng clay: Crafted from special clay taken from the Tần river in Khâm Châu. Nixing pottery needs no glaze, yet after polishing it still radiates a smooth, warm sheen — the longer the cup is used, the more lustrous it becomes (like nurturing jade).
"Horses Return in Triumph" motif: An image of a herd of galloping horses, finely carved in gold tones standing out against the dark pottery ground. This is a feng shui symbol meaning: good fortune returning, everything going smoothly, and success achieved in glorious fashion.
Handcrafted: A full, rounded cup shape with a slightly curved rim that helps hold the tea's aroma, and a moderately deep bowl that gives a sense of solidity and authority when held.
