In the art of tea, the tea tray is the foundation that ties the tea ware together, giving the space both beauty and order. Việt Long Trà is proud to present the Đồng Phúc Tea Tray in its large size (80x40cm) – a piece of tea ware of balanced design, combining durable natural bamboo with an elegant antiqued surface finish.
The name "Đồng Phúc" carries a message of unity, harmony and abundant good fortune. The tray not only completes the function of the tea table but also brings auspicious feng shui meaning to the owner's living space.
Product name: Đồng Phúc tea tray
Material: Solid bamboo
Surface finish: Lacquered in a classic rosewood tone
Dimensions: 80 x 40cm (Large size)
Use: Suited to tea sessions for two or for groups of 3 to 6, with ample room to set out in a living room, study or tea room.
Solid bamboo with good heat resistance: The tray is crafted from selected mature bamboo fibre, pressed into a single uniform block. This structure gives the tray a reassuring heft and lets it withstand the sudden temperature changes of contact with water at 80 to 95 degrees C throughout a tea session. The tray is carefully treated to minimise warping and cracking.
Elegant rosewood lacquer tone: The artistic highlight of the Đồng Phúc tea tray lies in its premium lacquer finish, which echoes the warm reddish brown of rare rosewood. This colour not only lends the tray an aged depth but also makes a perfect backdrop, setting off the earthy tones of zisha teapot shapes as well as the purity of porcelain cup sets.
Water resistant and easy to clean: The surface lacquer acts as a protective film that keeps tea from soaking into the bamboo fibre, resists staining and greatly limits the growth of mould. After each tea session, a light wipe with a soft cloth is all it takes to return the tray to a dry, clean state.
Balanced, versatile 80x40cm size: This is the size that fits most of today's tea tables best. The version optimises the surface area, letting you comfortably lay out a complete tea set including the teapot, the tea pitcher and the serving cups, along with accessories such as the aroma cup, the tong rest and a tea pet, without feeling cramped or overly bulky.
To keep the Đồng Phúc tea tray looking its best and holding its sheen over time, Việt Long Trà recommends:
After use, wipe away all tea left standing on the tray with a soft damp cloth and store it in a dry place.
Do not use harsh detergents or sharp metal scourers on the surface of the tray, as they will scratch the protective lacquer.
Avoid leaving the tray in harsh direct sunlight or fully submerged in water for long periods.
