Solid bamboo that stands up to heat: the tray is made from selected mature bamboo fibres pressed into a single uniform block. This structure gives it a solid, substantial feel and good resistance to the sudden temperature changes it meets when boiling water at 80 to 95 degrees C is poured over it throughout a tea session. The tray is carefully treated to minimise warping and cracking.
A refined sưa rosewood finish: the artistic highlight of the Đồng Phúc tea tray is its premium lacquer coating, which reproduces the warm reddish brown of rare sưa rosewood. This colour gives the tray an antique depth and also makes a perfect backdrop, setting off the earthy tones of zisha teapots and the pure white of porcelain cup sets alike.
