Heat-resistant solid bamboo: The tray is crafted from selected mature bamboo fibres, pressed into a single uniform block. This structure gives the tray a solid, substantial feel and stands up well to sudden temperature changes when it meets boiling water at 80 to 95 degrees C throughout a tea session. The tray has been carefully treated to keep warping and cracking to a minimum.
Elegant rosewood-tone lacquer: The artistic highlight of the Đồng Phúc tea tray is its premium lacquer coat, which echoes the warm reddish-brown of rare rosewood. This colour not only lends the tray an antique depth but also creates the perfect backdrop, setting off the earthy tones of Yixing zisha teapots as well as the purity of porcelain cup sets.
Water resistance and easy cleaning: The surface lacquer acts as a protective film that keeps tea from soaking into the bamboo fibres, resists staining and greatly limits the growth of mould.
