DARK OOLONG TEA – A Treasure Of Time From The Highlands

Woodsmoke Aroma, Deep Sweetness – The Awakening Journey Of The Discerning Tea Drinker

1. A VIETNAMESE SPECIALITY AT ITS SOURCE

We are proud to present Dark Oolong Tea, a masterpiece born in the cradle of Vietnamese tea:

  • Origin: Bảo Lộc – Lâm Đồng, Vietnam. A land with exceptional basalt soil that gives the tea a depth of character hard to find elsewhere.

  • Leaf shape: Refined and distinctive. Each pellet combines one bud and two to three young leaves, carefully rolled to lock in every bit of essence.

2. A COMPLEX FLAVOUR PROFILE – AMBER LIQUOR

Dark Oolong Tea is not merely a drink but a symphony of time and soil:

  • Flavour and aroma: Highly characteristic and complex. You will find notes of smoke, damp earth and decaying wood woven together with a firm hint of minerality.

  • On the palate: The tea is full-bodied yet exceptionally smooth, with no harsh astringency. Above all, it leaves a deep, sweet aftertaste lingering in the throat.

  • Value over time: This flavour will change and develop as the tea ages. The older the tea, the greater its value for collecting and for drinking.

  • Liquor colour: Amber brown, thick, smooth and beautiful in the cup.

3. NATURE’S HEALTH SECRETS

Dark Oolong Tea is regarded as a precious tea offering many excellent benefits:

  • Digestion: Supports a healthy digestive system.

  • Bodily balance: Helps balance and regulate the body.

  • Weight support: Known for helping to counter obesity naturally.

4. THE ART OF BREWING FOR MAXIMUM REFINEMENT

Follow our experience to unlock the full flavour:

Rinsing The Tea:

  1. Pour a little boiling water (90-100°C) over the leaves, swirl gently and discard at once. This step “awakens” the leaves and washes away dust.

Steeping The Tea:

  1. Fill the pot with water at 90-100°C.

  2. Steep the first infusion for only 30 - 45 seconds. If you prefer a slightly stronger cup, you may go a little longer.

  3. Pour all of the tea out into small cups and enjoy.

  4. Add 10-15 seconds to each following infusion. The tea will give 5-6 infusions and still keep its wonderful flavour.

An important note: In the experience of connoisseurs, do not over-steep. Steeping too long turns the tea’s signature smokiness harsh and astringent and strips away its smoothness.
